Overriding the required deposit payment amount when Custom Service Duration is enabled.
We use BookingPress Pro 6.2 with Custom Service Duration and Deposit Payment.
Our service is £35 per hour with a minimum duration of 2 hours.
We need to charge a compulsory £100 refundable security/damage deposit at checkout, in addition to the service price.
The customer should pay exactly £100 by Stripe when booking, then pay the full hire charge later.
The Fixed Amount deposit setting will not accept £100 because the Custom Duration unit price is £35 and gives “Deposit amount must be less than or equal to service price”.
We have also added the £100 as a compulsory Service Extra, which correctly gives (hours × £35) + £100, but we need Stripe to collect only the £100 Extra initially, leaving the full hire charge outstanding.
