Delete Special Days entries after the date has passed

Is there a way that we can automatically hide/delete special days from the Timesheet after the date has passed? We are going to primarily use the special days function and expect that most staff members will have hundreds of special days listed. It will be time-consuming to manually delete these after the date has passed.
