Better Email Notification Customization and Design

The Email Notification design system at the moment is barebones, basic and frequently buggy. It requiring coding and manual line breaks for even the most basic of formatting. Even when emails have been formatted correctly, they still regularly arrive in the inbox as plain text unformatted without line-breaks.
An overhaul to the Email Notification design system would be greatly appreciated. Being able to use the Visual editor for formatting without having to manually place line breaks would be a good minimum start. Nicely formatted HTML email templates with company logo would be a nice addition.

There was another email story about this that I had shared my solution, wp-html-mail plugin. Just configure it to theme emails system wide and your emails for this will also look great.
